This event is projected begin at 8:30AM and continue until 4:30pm. All Attendees who require CE Credits must attend Keynote Address as well as all the assigned Breakouts as well as provide completed evaluations prior to leaving at the end of the day.

Loretta Downs, MA, CSA, is an internationally recognized uplifting and inspiring speaker who is passionate about improving the end-of-life experience. Her perspective on the sacred passage is informed by more than 35 years of being a companion to AIDS patients, friends, family, hospice, and hospital patients, nursing home residents, death doula clients, and the loved ones who support them. She has a Master’s Degree in Gerontology and is past-president of the Chicago End-of-Life Care Coalition.

Loretta is a Certified Senior Advisor, End-of-Life Care Practitioner, Advance Care Planning Facilitator and a Death Doula. She has published numerous articles, gives workshops, been quoted in articles and books, interviewed for podcasts, and is featured in a video about the importance of advance care planning.
